The short version: The only information we receive from this website is what you choose to send us through the contact form. We don't sell your personal information. The contact form is processed by Netlify, our website host, so we can receive and reply to inquiries.
This website is operated by Rock & Iron Builders, a home remodeling contractor based at 3109 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA 94123. We serve the San Francisco Bay Area — San Francisco, the Peninsula, and the East Bay. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site and how we handle it.
Questions? Reach us at Rockironbuilders@gmail.com or (415) 572-2788.
When you fill out the “Request a Free Estimate” form on this site, we receive:
That's it. We do not require you to create an account, we do not process payments on this website, and we do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, or any sensitive personal information through this site.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the form unless it is necessary for us to respond to your remodeling inquiry.
We use the information you send us for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry, prepare a free estimate, and communicate about your potential or active project. We may follow up by email, phone, or text to schedule a site visit or answer your questions.
We don't add you to mailing lists or contact you about anything unrelated to your request without your permission.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or behavioral targeting.
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate this website and run the business:
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the legitimate interests of the business. We will not share inquiry contents with marketers, advertisers, or third parties unrelated to operating the site or completing your project.
At the time of this update, this website does not use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, advertising pixels, retargeting trackers, or social media trackers. The site does load fonts from Google Fonts so that text renders consistently, and it links out to our Google Business Profile review page when you click the “Leave us a Google review” link. Visiting those external services is governed by their own privacy policies.
If we add an analytics service in the future, we will update this policy to name the service, describe what it collects, and update the “Last updated” date.
This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. Outbound links to Google services (Google Fonts and the Google Business Profile review link) may cause your browser to interact with Google's own cookies, governed by Google's privacy policy.
Some browsers offer privacy signals such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC). Because this site does not currently run analytics or advertising trackers of its own, there is no behavioral tracking on this site to disable in response to those signals. If we add analytics or similar services in the future, we will update this section to describe how those signals are handled.
We keep contact form submissions and related communications for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry, complete the project, maintain customer relationships, keep business records, and meet legal, tax, insurance, or accounting obligations.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will honor the request unless we need to keep certain information for legitimate business, legal, tax, insurance, or recordkeeping reasons.
Although Rock & Iron Builders may not be legally subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) based on its current size and data practices, we voluntarily honor reasonable California privacy requests. California residents may contact us to:
To make a request, email Rockironbuilders@gmail.com or call (415) 572-2788. We aim to respond to verified requests within a reasonable time. We don't sell your personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of on that score.
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. However, no website, email system, hosting platform, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.
We may update this policy from time to time — typically when we add a new service provider, change how the site works, or refine the language. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
